SERVICES

Summer Camps
Camps run rain or shine.

The daily Double C Ranch LLC schedule balances busy and fun activities with free time to enjoy with friends. Whether it’s learning a new skill or engaging in friendly competition, we offer something for everyone to enjoy.

All of our Camps focus on approaching, leading, and caring for horses as well as having clear and correct communication with them. Campers will also learn the basics of these valuable skills:

-
Horse behavior and senses
-
Breeds, colors, and markings
-
Basic management (types of feed, hay, supplements, watering)
-
Stable management
-
How to halter and lead
-
Parts of the horse
-
How to groom
-
Parts of the tack and riding equipment
-
How to tack your horse
-
And many more topics!

We do fun arts and crafts like making your own leather wristband and play games to help reinforce knowledge and concepts.

Please make sure that the Camper is packing swimwear to cool off in our lake (with a sandy beach).

The Western Campers will practice for our Playday and learn how to swing a rope.

The Equestrian Campers will have a dressage and jumping introduction according to riding level with a friendly competition on the last day of camp.
