About the event

Howdy Partners! Do you have a young’un who just can’t get enough time with horses and prefers the western style?

Our Western Day Camp program is the one for you!

Campers in this program spend their day in the barn and around horses, focusing on riding, horse care, learning how to rope, etc..

We aim to have our western day campers in at least four lessons per week and we will end the week on friday with a traditional playday with barrel race, poles and flags! Safety first, if needed, there will be ground buddies!

We guarantee that they will ride at least four times in this week, but it is our intention for them to ride more often! We want to make sure that they are ready for their playday!

In addition to a lot of fun :), this program teaches campers about the responsibilities of owning a horse such as feeding, horse care, grooming, mucking stalls, etc. The morning starts with three horse related activities, whether that be a riding lesson, an hour of horse care, or groundwork with the horse. Then comes lunch (campers bring their own), and an hour of swimming or sprinklers. After water time campers have a snack and we will play fun games, content is all the great things they learned earlier in the day :).
